O God, who scatterest the proud in the imagination of their hearts: Forgive our sins of pride, we beseech thee, especially our pride of race and class. May we never despise our fellow men, but in honour prefer one another; for the sake of him who humbled himself that he might exalt us, Jesus Christ our Lord.
