O Lord Jesus Christ, who hast left us for a while, giving us the promise that thou wilt come again and receive us to be with thee for ever: Grant us such communion with thyself that our souls may thirst for that time when we shall behold thee in thy glory; who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Spirit world without end.
