Occasional Prayers

O God of truth and charity, be pleased to use these days of teaching, learning, and discussion to furnish thy Church with men and women committed unto thee. Direct what is said and done in thy name, that it may have success beyond our endeavour; and grant to all so to learn of thee that our faith in thy kingdom, our hope in thy promises, our love towards all men, may be renewed and enlarged; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
