Occasional Prayers

Almighty Father, who hast taught us in thy holy Word that the silver and the gold are thine, and that we are but stewards of thy bounty: Graciously assist us, we pray thee, as we meet together at this time to care for the financial interests of thy Church in this parish. Give us heavenly wisdom in handling these earthly things; enable us faithfully to fulfill our responsibility as in thy sight; and grant that, seeking first thy kingdom and righteousness, we may prove thy sufficiency in all things, according to the promise of thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
