Occasional Prayers

Lord Jesus, who chose twelve disciples and sent them forth to preach the gospel and to heal the sick: Forgive the faithless disobedience of thy children, and help us to restore the healing ministry to thy Church. Grant that thy whole Church as thy body may be inspired to teach and to heal; that again signs may follow upon faith in thee, and the world may know that thou art our mighty Saviour; to whom be all praise and glory, now and for evermore.
