Occasional Prayers

Eternal Lord Christ, who art the strength of all that trust in thee: We bring now into thy presence thy servants . . . We know not what is best for them, but thou knowest. Lay thy healing hand upon them, we beseech thee, giving them all that is needful for health both of body and soul. Grant them patience and endurance, with a perfect dependence on thy never-failing love; and work out in them the good pleasure of thy will; who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end.
