Occasional Prayers

O Almighty God, giver of life and health, who hast taught us in thy holy Word to pray over the sick, and to anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord: Grant, we beseech thee, to this person, whom we anoint in thy name, refreshment of spirit, and, if it be thy will, perfect restoration to health; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
