Occasional Prayers

O Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of the sheep, who dost gather the lambs with thine arms, and carry them in thy bosom: We commit into thy loving hands this child. Relieve his pain, guard him from all danger, restore unto him the gifts of gladness and strength, and raise him up to a life of service to thee. Hear us, we beseech thee, for thy dear name’s sake.
