Guild of Health*O God, the creator and giver of life, we thank thee for entrusting this woman to bear a child. Help her to respond to this gift by preparation of herself in heart, and mind, and body. Strengthen her for the task and responsibility of motherhood. Grant her also the gift of faith in thy Son Jesus Christ, that she may have peace and quiet confidence in him. So may her hope be realized and her joy be full; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.
