Strengthen, O Lord, we pray thee, by thy Holy Spirit, thy children who are now preparing to seek thy help in the sacred rite of confirmation; and grant that, boldly confessing thee before men, they may walk steadfastly in the way of life, and serve thee faithfully all their days; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
