Grant, O heavenly Father, that those who are about to be admitted into the full communion of thy Church by confirmation may be so strengthened by the gift of thy Holy Spirit that they may ever be faithful to the vows which they shall make, and serve thee henceforth with singleness of purpose as true followers of thy Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
