Occasional Prayers

We yield thee hearty thanks, most merciful Father, that it hath pleased thee to receive us through baptism for thine own children and to incorporate us into thy holy Church; and we humbly beseech thee to grant that, as we are partakers of the death of thy Son, so we may also be partakers of his resurrection, and may finally, with thy whole Church, be inheritors of thine everlasting kingdom; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.
