Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who hast given thy Son our Saviour Jesus Christ not only to die for us, but also to be our spiritual food and sustenance in the most comfortable sacrament of his Body and Blood: Grant that we may celebrate the memorial of his death with reverence and godly fear, and offer the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving with holiness and joy, to the benefit of thy Church and the honour of thy name; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.
