Eternal God, with whom there is mercy and plenteous redemption: We commend to thy love and keeping the soul of this our brother, and we commit his body to the ground, earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. And we pray that by the most precious death and passion of thy dear Son, and sharing in the riches of his grace, both this our brother and we may at the last be found acceptable in thy sight; through Jesus Christ our only Saviour and Advocate.
