Occasional Prayers

O God, before whose face the generations rise and pass away, the strength of those who labour, and the repose of the holy and blessed dead: We remember all who have faithfully lived and died, especially N. Lift us into light and love, and give us at last our portion who have trusted in thee and striven to do thy will. And unto thy name, with the Church on earth and the Church in heaven, we ascribe honour and glory, world without end.
