O God, who art present in every place: Look with thy mercy on those we love, at home or wherever they may be. Defend them from all dangers; give them strength for their daily work; and grant that both they and we, drawing nearer to thee, may also draw nearer to one another, until at last we rejoice together in our heavenly home; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
