Occasional Prayers

O God, who wast pleased to send on thy disciples the Holy Spirit in the burning fire of thy love: Breathe into our souls the love of whatsoever is true and beautiful and good. May we fear to be unfaithful, and have no other fear. Help us to remember that we are thy children, and belong to thee. In thy service may we live, and in thy favour may we die; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
