O God the Creator and Redeemer of all mankind, we praise thee for thy messengers who are telling in the dark places of the earth the story of thy love; and we pray thee to bless their labours, to protect them among all their perils bodily and spiritual, and to give them many souls for their reward; for the sake of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
