O holy and eternal God, who art ever to be praised in the congregation of the saints: We yield thee hearty thanks for those who in times past have given freely of their substance for the work of this parish church; and we pray thee so to continue thy mercy towards us, that we may follow in the steps of all thy faithful servants who have loved thee here on earth, and with them may enter at last into thine unending joy; through Jesus Christ, our only Mediator and Advocate.
