Blessed be thy name, O Lord, that it pleased thee to put into the hearts of thy servants in years gone by to build and adorn this house for thy honour and glory, and for the ministry of thy Word and sacraments. And we pray that we who now enjoy the benefit of their work may express our gratitude to thee for the same by showing forth thy praise from generation to generation; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
