O God, the eternal wisdom, who wouldest that all should learn to know thee in the splendour of thy Son’s life on earth: Grant that our universities and schools, first learning Christ, may impart full treasures of knowledge, truth, and faith; so that both Church and commonwealth be nobly served by lives which follow his; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
