Occasional Prayers

O God, of whose great bounty cometh the richness and use of the seasons: We praise thee for the joy and fullness of harvest. As thou hast given us all things richly to enjoy, grant us grateful hearts that we may rightly use thy good gifts. Give us generous understanding of the wants of others, and a deep concern that all thy children may have food sufficient for their need; for thy name’s sake.
