Almighty God and heavenly Father, whose Son Jesus Christ shared in Nazareth the life of an earthly home: Send down thy blessing, we beseech thee, upon all Christian families, that parents by the spirit of understanding and wisdom, and children by the spirit of obedience and reverence, may be bound each to each by mutual love; through him who became a child and learned obedience to thy will, even Jesus Christ our Lord.
