Occasional Prayers

O Lord our heavenly Father, who by thy blessed Son hast taught us not to be anxious for our daily life: Mercifully hear our prayers and send rain upon the earth [or, send us favourable weather]; that our land may yield its increase and our hearts may rejoice in thee, who art the giver of all good things; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.
