Almighty God, who by thy Spirit hast taught thy Church to sanctify the first day of the week as a perpetual memorial to the glorious resurrection of thy Son our Lord: Teach us to use this gift for the worship of thy holy name, and the refreshment of our souls and bodies; and prosper, we pray thee, every endeavour to preserve the sanctity of thy day in our national life; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
