Occasional Prayers

O Lord Jesus Christ, who by thy example hast taught us that the Father’s love can be proclaimed under the vault of heaven no less than in temples made with hands, and hast bidden us in our love for Souls to go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in: Prosper and bless every effort to carry the message of the gospel to those that are without; that as of old the common people may hear thee gladly, O blessed Lord and Saviour, who now livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
