The Parish — An Incumbent
Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who makest us both to will and to do of thy good pleasure: Give thy grace, we pray thee, to thy servant N. whom thou hast called to have the oversight of the Church in this parish. Grant that he may be a faithful dispenser of thy holy Word and sacraments, and a godly example to the people committed to his charge; so that, this life ended, they with him may be partakers of thy heavenly kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
