Occasional Prayers

O God, our heavenly Father, we humbly pray thee to pour out thy Holy Spirit upon the mission in this parish. Give power to the preaching of the gospel, that it may be good news indeed to those who hear it. Arouse the careless, convict the sinful, humble the self-righteous, restore the backsliding. Get glory to thy holy name, and visit us with thy salvation; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
