Occasional Prayers

Lord Jesus, our Master, who at thy first coming didst send out messengers into every village and town before thee, to announce the good news of thy coming and to call to repentance of sin: We pray thee to go forth with those whom thou sendest now in England, as then in Galilee; that all may hear thy voice and obey thy call, and may make themselves ready for the coming of thy kingdom; to the glory of thy name, who ever livest and reignest, Jesus Christ our Lord.
