O Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who hast called us to be members of the Anglican Communion and to a partnership of churches in all parts of the world: Grant, we beseech thee, that we may understand the mission which thou hast entrusted to us, and our duty to those who are separated from us; that penitently recognizing our failings in the past, we may go forward in unity and love to the fulfillment of our common work; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
