Occasional Prayers

Almighty God, whose mercy reaches unto the heavens and thy faithfulness unto the clouds: We bless thee for thy gracious providence towards our nation in the creation, preservation and reformation of thy Church within its borders; and we beseech thee to stretch forth thy mighty hand in this our day to purge us from sin, to establish us in truth, to unite us in love, and to inspire us with zeal for the extension of thy kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
