O Lord Jesus Christ, who didst charge thine apostles to preach the gospel to every creature: Prosper, we pray thee, the work of thy Church in this land. Give vision and courage to our bishops and all who exercise spiritual leadership; and so inflame the hearts of thy people with burning love that they may be moved to share with others the blessings of thy redeeming love; who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
