We give thee thanks, Almighty Father, for thy gifts to this nation in times past through thy Church; and we pray thee so to quicken the life of the Church in this our day that, bearing faithful witness to the gospel of thy love, it may draw the people of our land to thyself and unite them in a sacred brotherhood wherein justice and mercy, truth and freedom, may flourish and abound, to the glory of thy name; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
