O Christ, Teacher and Saviour of men, who didst train thy disciples to do thy work in thy way: Call into the service of thy Church, we pray thee, men and women of thine own heart and choice. And that they may truly serve thee, pour upon them thy Holy Spirit that they may be humble and wise, understanding and kind; for the true serving of thy will and the showing forth of thy way among men, to thy honour and glory.
