O Lord Jesus Christ, who callest to thee whom thou wiliest and sendest them whither thou dost choose: We give thanks to thee for those who were first sent to preach thy gospel in our own land; and we humbly pray thee to raise up among us those who shall be heralds and evangelists of thy kingdom in our own day, and shall build up thy Church in every land; who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God world without end.
