Occasional Prayers

O Lord Christ, to whom all authority has been given in heaven and on earth, and who hast charged thy Church to make disciples of all nations: Kindle within us, we pray thee, such a spirit of devotion and zeal that we may ever obey thy Word, and serve thy purpose, and advance thy kingdom in the world; for the glory of thy name.
