Occasional Prayers

O God, who art the Father of all mankind, we ask thy mercy for the refugees of many nations who bear the mark of pain and suffering. We pray for the sick, the homeless, and the lonely, and for those separated from their families and friends; and we beseech thee to direct the minds of statesmen and the charity of all men to the relief of their sufferings and the healing of their sorrows; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
