We would remember before thee, O God, all those whose powers are hampered by affliction of mind or body, and especially children burdened by suffering and physical limitations. Give patience and hope to all who tend them, and amidst all the mysteries of life grant us such a vision and assurance of thy love that we may never doubt thee, though thy way is hidden from us; this we ask for Jesus’ sake.
