Occasional Prayers

Lord Jesus, we beseech thee, by the loneliness of thy suffering on the cross, be near to all who are desolate, and in pain or sorrow, this day; and let thy presence transform their sorrow into comfort, and their loneliness into fellowship with thee; for thy tender mercy’s sake.
