Hear us, O Lord, as we remember before thee those who have special need of thee at this time; those who are handicapped in the race of life through no fault of their own; those who have lost the health and strength that once were theirs; all who lie in pain; the blind, the deaf, the dumb; the hungry and the homeless; all refugees and displaced persons; those who are in doubt or anguish of soul, and all who have wandered away from thee. Succour them, O Lord, and raise up helpers for them in their need, for the sake of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
