Occasional Prayers

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who didst rest from the work of creation on the seventh day: Grant us thy blessing not only in our labour but when we lay aside our toil; that so, returning to our duties with body rested, mind renewed and spirit refreshed, we may in all things seek thy glory and do thy will; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Saviour.
