Occasional Prayers

Almighty God, giver of life and health: Guide, we pray thee, with thy wisdom all who are striving to save from injury and death the travellers on our roads. Grant to those who drive along the highways consideration for others, and to those who walk on them or play beside them thoughtful caution and care; that so without fear or disaster we may all come safely to our journey’s end, by thy mercy who carest for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
