Occasional Prayers

Merciful God, who holdest the waters in the hollow of thy hand: Prosper, we pray thee, the voyages of our sailors and merchantmen as they go down to the sea in ships and do business in great waters; and as they see thy works in the deep, give them grace to acknowledge and trust in thee, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth and of those that are far off upon the sea; for thy name’s sake.
