O Merciful Father, who hast made man’s body to be a temple of thy Holy Spirit: Sanctify, we pray thee, all those whom thou hast called to study and practise the art of healing and the prevention of disease; strengthen them in body and soul, and bless their work, that they may themselves live as members and servants of Christ, and give comfort to those whom he lived and died to save; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.
