Health Services and Hospitals — British Red Cross Society
O Merciful God, giver of life and health, whose will is made known to us in Jesus Christ our Lord: Send thy blessing, we beseech thee, upon all who are engaged in the ministry of healing. More especially we pray at this time for the British Red Cross Society and those who serve therein. Inspire all who wear the Red Cross with the spirit of Christian charity and self-sacrifice, that they may be compassionate in their care for the sick and afflicted, fearless in their efforts to promote the health and well-being of the people in this and other lands; for the sake of him whose cross is the pledge of victory over all the powers of evil, even thy Son our Saviour Jesus Christ.
