Occasional Prayers

O God the Father of all mankind, we would remember before thee the men and women who come from many lands to study in our universities. Guide them and protect them in the difficulties and temptations which beset them in their new surroundings. Keep alive in their hearts the love of all that is good in their home life, and give them also insight to appreciate and share that which is good in ours. Pardon the faults of temper and manners by which we so often offend them; and grant us true humility, love and patience that we may welcome them in the spirit of the Master whom we desire to serve.
