Occasional Prayers

Heavenly Father, we praise thee for the holidays which are now over and for all the happiness we have enjoyed. At the beginning of this new term we present ourselves to thee for thy blessing. Give us courage and cheerfulness in facing the tasks before us; make us loyal and unselfish in our dealings with one another; and help us both in our work and in our games always to give of our best; for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord.
