Occasional Prayers

O God, the Creator of all things, who hast made man in thine own image, so that he must ever seek his joy in creative work: Have mercy, we beseech thee, on all who are unemployed, or whose work is dull; and help us so to order our common life that every man may have work to do and find joy in doing it, to the good of this nation and to the glory of thy name; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
