Society and Industry — Earning and Spending
O God, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ earned his bread at Nazareth by the labours of his hands, and taught us that our possessions are a trust from thee: Help us to be faithful stewards of what thou givest; that in earning we may be just and honest, and in spending we may seek not our own but thy glory, and the good of others; through the same our Lord Jesus Christ.
