Occasional Prayers

O Lord Jesus Christ, who wast lifted up on the cross to draw all men unto thee: Look in mercy, we beseech thee, upon this nation. Send out thy light and thy truth that they may lead us into paths of fellowship and peace; break down all barriers of contention and strife; and grant that we may live together in brotherly unity and concord, to thy glory and the welfare of this realm; for thy holy name’s sake.
